Together with Dr.Herbert Ungerer, Deputy DG Competition, European Commission, Professor Mayer-Schönberger keynoted the SCL Conference "Legislating for Web 2.0", suggesting that virtual world regulation - a topic under consideration by the European Commission - must be considered carefully, to avoid regulatory dynamics undermining governance.
